2015 GoPro Mountain Games

We’re kicking off summer with one of the most highly anticipated events of the year: the GoPro Mountain Games, June 4 – 7! The country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, music, and the mountain lifestyle, with events ranging from the Steep Creek Kayak Championship to the Bouldering World Cup, mountain biking, Dock Dog competitions, and more.

Here are some ways to engage socially:

1. Make sure to use and follow #GoProMtnGames.
2. Be a part of the GoPro Mountain Games compilation video edit! Stop by the Uploading Station at Golden Peak to upload your GoPro footage for the Crowdsourced video – set to premier on Vail’s social channels later this summer. If you don’t have a chance to stop by, you can also upload your footage online.
3. THURSDAY, JUNE 4 (2PM MST): GoPro is starting off the weekend with a live FB Q&A with GoPro Kayak athletes: Dane Jackson, Rush Sturges and Nick Troutman. They’ll swing by to chat about the Steep Creek challenge and how they plan to spend the weekend in Vail, enjoying the great outdoors.
4. FRIDAY, JUNE 5 (9AM MST): GoPro be following up the FB Q&A with a #GoProChat featuring athletes Izzi Gomez and Sash Digiulian. After the chat, we’ll go live to a webcast and panel with Outside Magazine Sr. Online Editor Axie Navas and GoPro Media Production Artist Shon Bollock to discuss adventure sport storytelling and product tips/tricks.
5. SATURDAY, JUNE 6 (ALL DAY): Sasha Digiulian will be taking over @VailMtn Instagram account. Make sure to keep en eye out and follow along.
6. SUNDAY, JUNE 7 (ALL DAY): Follow and share your #GoProMtnGames moments with us to be featured on GoPro channels or even better…win GoPro Mountain Games swag!
