The patio of Eagle's Nest in Vail is inundated with pink during the 4th annual Pink Vail celebration on Saturday. Pink Vail is the world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer, raising money for local cancer treatment at the Shaw Regional Cancer Center in Edwards.

This year the Burton U.S. Open will kick-off the week long event with the return of its Junior Jam. The kids competition will return after being absent from the Snowboarding Championship’s schedule since 2009. The Junior Jam has turned out no shortage of notable snowboarders, with alumni including Pat Moore, Hannah Teter, Luke Mitrani, John JacksonMikkel Bang and Jake Blauvelt.
