Christmas Eve in Blue Sky Basin

After a series of stormy days and over 3 feet of accumulation, the sun broke out on Christmas Eve to reveal one of those blue sky powder days your dream about at Vail!
We headed straight for Blue Sky Basin in the morning…

And were rewarded with one of the best days of the season and one of our top powder days ever. Tons of untouched powder plus blue skies made it hard to take a bad photo. The chilly temps have been keeping the snow light and fluffy and looks like more snow is on the way tomorrow through early next week!
