You get snow! you get snow! e v e r y b o d y gets snow!!

Santa called, he said your gift came early this year; 4″ of snow overnight, over two feet in the past 7 days, and we expect two more feet of snow before Xmas!

2014 is ending with a big frosty bang. Storms seem on track to deliver snow almost every day until the end of the year. If you are lucky to be spending the holidays in Vail, consider yourself lucky enough. Conditions seem ideal for tons of low-moisture, light as feathers, big powder flakes to slowly and carefully stack one on top of the other, waiting for the bottom of your skis to send them flying through the air; and it won’t even be crazy cold! Highs in the 20’s, low winds, and good windows of sunshine in between storms are bound to a make these Holidays one for the ages. If Santa weren’t busy, he knows where he would be parking his reindeer sled the next few days: Vail Village Parking Structure (he likes to ride the Riva Bahn Express #6 “amazing views” he says)
