Conditions Update December 8

Sunshine peeking through the clouds yesterday morning on Gitalong Road

Here comes the sun! Today there will be sunny skies all day long followed by sun filled skies for the rest of the week through Friday. 

Leave the heavy layers at home today because not only will there be plenty of sunshine, but temperatures will be relatively warm with the high of 37 degrees. The warm sun will soften up the snow and with weekend crowds mostly gone, it’s another opportune day here at Vail. Groomers are recommended to cruise today like Ramshorn, Cappuccino, and Swingsville on the front side. If you feel like heading to the back bowls China Bowl has the most groomed runs including Emperor’s, and Poppyfields East and West. Have fun out there and stay tuned to the Snow and Weather Report for possible snow showers this weekend.
