Conditions Update January 5
Cloudy skies this morning suggest more snow is in store
Temperatures are rising and snow will be falling. With most of the holiday crowds gone and great conditions this will be a day you don’t want to miss. Through this afternoon and into tomorrow Vail is expecting a couple more inches of fresh snow. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday there will be sunny skies and temperatures will rise into the 30s. It is shaping up to be a great week here at Vail! Today stick to low light googles with some cloud cover expected throughout the day. All lifts are open and only two runs are yet to drop the ropes. With 5270 acres available there is something for everyone out there! 11 groomed runs are available on the back bowls and 39 groomed runs are available on the frontside today. Lifts open at 8:30 so get an early start and enjoy!
Groomed runs of all levels are offered today including black diamond, Avanti
