Conditions Update November 30
Sunrise this morning from North Frontage Road
Enjoy the last day of this holiday weekend with partly cloudy skies during the day with a chance of snow after 4pm! 3,642 acres of terrain are open, which is more than half of Vail Mountain and also gives us the title of having the most open terrain in the country. Take advantage of this day with short lines and wide open terrain. Temperatures will be in the high 20s to low 30s, but be sure to layer because it will feel a tad colder with wind gusts reaching up to 30 mph. In the morning cruise down the groomed runs of the day including North Star and Hunky Dory. Don’t forget to make your way over to the new terrain opened on China Bowl, Sun Up Bowl, and Sun Down Bowl thanks to the unusual amount of snow we have received this early in the season. Joel Gratz of OpenSnow is seeing a mix of weak and heavier storm systems moving through this week – check out his daily forecasts on our snow report page.
