Baauer – Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015
Harry Bauer Rodrigues, better known as Baauer, hasn’t been on the scene long but the amount of buzz the 24 year-old has built in such a short period of time is second to none, going from SoundCloud’s best kept secret to the world’s new poster-boy for menacing sub-bass stylings almost overnight. As a producer, Baauer’s impeccable track record has propelled him to become one of the most glorified and respected in his field, cultivating an authentic style and sound that yields stadium-sized responses across the globe. With a focus on sensationalizing the seemingly insignificant, Baauer melds dance floor traditions with hip-hop tendencies, and finds a creative sweet spot between the two that is redefined with each new track he creates.
Paul Oakenfold – Friday, Jan. 30, 2015
Three-time GRAMMY nominee, DJ, producer and artist Paul Oakenfold returns to Vail this January for his second Décimo event, after headlining the inaugural, sold-out event last winter on March 4, 2014. Oakenfold is recognized as the original pioneer of DJ culture and one of its most recognizable icons. From the DJ booth of the world’s hottest dance floors and festivals to the studio producing groundbreaking remixes or soundtracks for Hollywood blockbuster movies, Oakenfold’s diversity as an artist and ability as a performer have earned him accolades from critics and fans the world over.
Porter Robinson – Friday, Feb. 13, 2015
Up-and-coming DJ and producer Porter Robinson has quickly made a name for himself in the EDM world with remixes for acts like Lady Gaga and Avicii, but lately it’s his solo work fans are buzzing about. Robinson’s 2014 debut album “Worlds” is a kaleidoscopic slice of anthemic electro pop that’s becoming a staple at his live shows, where he fleshes out his epic productions with a full backing band. A skilled performer, Robinson knows how to keep audiences moving with intense buildups and drops, and is sure to continue his meteoric rise in the DJ world.
Cash Cash – Friday, March 6, 2015
With international support growing from renowned DJs and producers including Tiesto, Hardwell and Nicky Romero, New York’s emerging electronic three-piece Cash Cash fuses captivating pop vocals and signature electro-house beats for a crowd-pleasing performance. The group, which consists of best friends and brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch, first made their way into the hearts of core dance music enthusiasts with their vibrant remixes for the likes of Nicky Romero (“Symphonica”), Capital Cities (“Safe And Sound”), Vicetone (“Heartbeat” ft. Collin McLoughlin) and Krewella (“Alive”); as well as Bruno Mars (“Treasure”), Calvin Harris (“Let’s Go” ft. Ne-Yo) and Nervo & Hook N Sling (“Reason”).
