Favorable weather patterns and snow on the way!
Not only is a storm on the horizon for this week, but Vail is seeing a favorable La Nina weather pattern for the season.
From our go-to news source Joel Gratz, founding meteorologist at OpenSnow.com: ” A significant storm will bring snow from Thursday (Nov.16) night through Friday (Nov. 17) night, with strong winds on Friday and 4-8 inches of snow, with perhaps double-digit totals if things come together just right.”
Joel goes on to say “The outlook for the season is rather positive, with La Nina setting up a storm track from the northwest. This is typically a good scenario for Vail.”
