Last Minute Planning Tips
The final countdown is on for your trip to Vail! Here are a few last minute planning tips to ensure you get the most out of your snowy getaway.
1. Events, activities, and more
Check out what events are on tap for your time in Vail. Even if your trip doesn’t align with any of our signature events, Vail’s vibrant villages are always humming with activity.
And a word to the wise, many of Vail’s best restaurants fill up fast, so go ahead and reserve a table now to make sure you get your preferred seating time.
2. Insider updates, on and off the mountain
Our social media pages are the best way to get the latest conditions updates and events info, as well as to engage with the Vail community. Whether you follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, you’ll get daily updates from us and be able to share your own Vail experiences with the hashtags #vail and #vailsnow.
Another tip? If you navigate the mountain like a pro, you’ll want to sign up for alerts from VailMtnAlerts, a separate Twitter account featuring on mountain operations updates, including lift openings, closings, and more.
3. Rentals
Plenty of people leave rentals out of trip planning, but did you know that you’ll actually save money and time when you reserve your equipment ahead of time? Our rental specialists factor in your skiing ability and the latest snow conditions when recommending equipment, so get your ideal setup without wasting any time getting on the mountain.
We’re looking forward to having you here in Vail! And if you have any other last minute planning questions, leave a comment on any of our social media channels. See you soon!
