Planning on celebrating New Year’s Eve in Vail? There are plenty of options for both families and 21+! A concert by Theivery Corporation at Dobson may be the biggest party of the night, but don’t miss the torchlight ski down Golden Peak and the fireworks show!

The Red Lion New Year’s Eve party, Phil Long and Friends will perform for attendees. Tickets are available either at the restaurant or by phone for $100 per person. Ticket price includes a champagne toast and passed appetizers. Call 970-476-7676.
Samana Lounge in Vail hosts its annual New Year’s Eve party with music by DJ Koncept. Doors open at 9 p.m. Finger foods will be served early. Tickets start at $80 per person and go up to $100 per person. Table/bottle service is available. Admission includes two drink tickets and a champagne toast at midnight. Four Seasons Resort is hosting a Walk on Water New Year’s party. Celebrate New Year’s on a dance floor in a heated tent on top of an outdoor pool. All-inclusive party features DJ Jeff D’Amico, Veuve Cliquot VIP Lounge, sushi bar, dessert station and much more. 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and cost is $250 per person, 21 years of age and older. There is also a kid’s party happening at the same time so your little ones can have fun on New Year’s as well!

Larkspur has a roaring ‘20s-themed New Year’s Eve party with a front-row view of the mountainside fireworks at Golden Peak from Larkspur on New Year’s. First seating from 6 to 8 p.m., $225 per adult or $115 per child younger than 12. Discounted bar seating is $175 per adult, $90 per child younger than 12. Shakedown Bar on Bridge Street in Vail will ring in the New Year with My Brother’s Keeper, an all-star funk, rock ‘n’ roll and soul group featuring Scott Rednor on guitar and vocals; Michael Jude and John Michel, of the John Oates Band, on bass, drums and vocals; Rob Eaton Jr. on guitar; Bill McKay (of Leftover Salmon and The Derek Trucks Band) on organ, piano and vocals; and Richie Cannata, who has recorded saxophone on No. 1 hits from musicians such as Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beach Boys and more. - Transportation and Parking
Please be safe! Use the free bus system in Vail. Buses will run as scheduled, except for between 10 pm and 12am. The last East Vail and ECO buses leave at 2am. If you need to leave your car in a Town of Vail structure overnight, you may do so free of charge provided you remove it before 10am the next day.
