Paul Oakenfold Elevates Vail Nightlife with Décimo

Paul Oakenfold to headline Dècimo at Vail’s The 10th.

New for 2014, Vail is bringing the Fat Tuesday/Carnival celebration to new heights, 10,250 feet above sea level to be exact.

Décimo, is a unique event  featuring Paul Oakenfold on center stage for this exclusive, mid-mountain celebration. Combining the likeness of Paul Oakenfold’s global success and Vail’s world-class reputation, Tuesday, March 4 will be a night for the ages.

Oakenfold’s prestige does not come without warrant. He is known as a three-time Grammy nominee, producer, and an artist. He has headlined with Madonna, created two songs for Cher’s latest album, and wrote the score for the film Humboldt Park. The relevance of Oakenfold’s music has stood the test of time from the beginning of house music in Ibiza onto the movement of remixes in 90’s nightclubs. Oakenfold continues to inspire through his music from exclusive events to an advisor of electronic dance music.

Globally recognized, Oakenfold will add to the World-class Vail experience. 

Similar to Oakenfold, Vail continues to evolve as the premier ski destination, this year by featuring a unique event venue, The 10^th. The 10^th is the latest trend in mountain dining featuring a more refined lunch, après, and dinner menu, located at the top of Gondola One. Décimo will convert The 10^th into an ultra chic, urban style venue for the festivities.

Ticketed guests will be escorted up the mountain via Gondola One beginning at 9pm. VIP packages are available for optimal seating nearest to the DJ and include bottle service at the table. Mountain-chic attire is encouraged for this once in a lifetime event.
