Announcement: Outlier Offroad Festival Trail Impacts

This weekend Vail Mountain is pleased to host the Outlier Offroad Festival for the second year in a row. All mountain bikers, hikers and guests looking to use Vail Mountain Trails Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of September please take note of trail impacts and closures due to the races taking place on the mountain. We ask that guests observe all closures and be alert to other riders while using any impacted trails listed below.

Spark XC Race – Saturday 10th
Temporary Trail Closures
Grand Traverse: Closed until 12:00pm*
Windisch Way: Closed until 1:00pm*
Trails Impacted – sporadic racers “back of pack” traveling with normal flow of traffic and instructed to share the trail with other users

- Cub’s Way
- Big Mamba from Top of 8 down
- Hank’s Hideaway
- Son of Simba
- Lower Liondown
Note: Strawberry Lane will only be accessible from Gitalong Road until race is finished
Rockshox Enduro – Sunday 11th

- Liondown from the exit of PMT to Mane Lane
- Lower Old 9 Line
- Mane Lane
12:30-2:00pm
- Fred’s Lunch
- Gitalong Road
- Onza Alley
- Windisch Way
Note: Strawberry Lane will only be accessible via Gitalong Road from 12:30-2:00pm
