Vail Job Fair – Helpful Hints

Vail Job Fair:
November 13
The Arrabelle Hotel
2 – 6 pm.
You are cordially invited to the Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Resort, Vail Resorts Hospitality and Retail Winter Job Fair. You can register in advance at www.jobs.vailresorts.com by clicking “Apply” for the November 13th event.
It is our mission to create the “Experience of a Lifetime” for our guests, and we want individuals who are passionate about delivering what we feel is the best product in the world.
Start your amazing journey this season in our Ski and Ride School, Mountain Dining, Operations, Sales, Retail and Hospitality. Hiring managers from ALL these departments will be at the job fair ready to meet you and make offers to qualified people.
Here’s how to make the most of the job fair:
1. Do your research
We have hundreds of different positions available on our mountains, think about what you’d like to do in advance. Inside or outside? Culinary? Working with kids? What’s your ideal work environment?
2. Dress for success
Treat the job fair like you would an interview.
3. Know where you are going
The Arrabelle is located in Lionshead Village at 675 Lionshead Place; Vail, CO 81657; parking in the Lionshead garage is free this time of year and the fair is just a short walk away through the village.
4. Polish an elevator speech
Think about a 20-30 second introduction speech that will tell the hiring manager a little bit about you, what you’re looking for, and all the positive skills and experience you can bring to their department.
5. Follow up
Gather all the contact information you will need to properly follow up on your interviews with hiring managers. Did you get the manager’s name? What is the position number you have an offer for? What are the next steps? These are all necessary to finalize any offers made!
So why work for Vail Resorts? On top of being an amazing company to be a part of, jobs can include: unrestricted season pass valid at multiple resorts, discounted or free dependent passes, food discounts, retail discounts, lodging discounts, complimentary/discounted lift ticket vouchers for friends and family, discounted bus passes, and amazing employee-only events!
We’ll look forward to meeting you, and if you have any please contact the human resources department at Vail at (970) 754-3062 or Beaver Creek at (970) 754-5270. See all open job opportunities and apply online in advance at www.jobs.vailresorts.com.
