Vail Mountain Summer Operations Begin June 2
Vail Mountain will open for summer operations on Friday, June 2, 2017 with access to Gondola One out of Vail Village during the weekend. Operations will expand to daily mountain access via Gondola One in Vail Village and the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead Village on Friday, June 9, 2017.
Epic Discovery will open for the second summer at Vail Mountain on Friday, June 9, 2017. New this year, Paramount Peak, a 36-foot-tall permanent climbing wall and the Kids Ride Free Program, which provides kids ages 12 and younger free access up the gondola with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Summer 2017 Gondola Dates & Hours
Gondola One, Vail Village
• June 2-4
o 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday
• June 9 – September 4
o 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• September 8 – October 1
o 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday
Bikes will be allowed up the gondola until 4:00 p.m. as soon as conditions allow.
Eagle Bahn Gondola, Lionshead Village
• June 9 – September 4
o 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• June 22 – September 2
o 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday through Sunday
• September 8 – October
o 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday
Bikes will be allowed up the gondola until 6:00 p.m. as soon as conditions allow.
Adventure Ridge
• June 9 – September 4
o 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• September 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 29 – October 1
o 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
