Video: Contagious happiness on a powder day at Vail

It snowed 34 inches over the last few days of January 2014 in Vail. On the second day of the storm, the 5am snow report was 21 inches. Watch as athletes and photographers have fun in the powder. 

Skiers and snowboarders head straight for their favorite stashes and cliffs on a big powder day at Vail. The soft landings that powder provides allows these athletes to drop their favorite cliff lines, some of which you will recognize in this video. Others just make floating turns, throwing up clouds of fresh snow everywhere they go.
